Freelance Design Engineer - FunnelEnvy

Overview: FunnelEnvy is a B2B conversion optimization agency working with enterprise clients like Box, S&P Global, and HPE. We're building a forward-deployed AI agent system - embedded intelligence that learns each client's business and compounds over time across experimentation, analytics, and growth strategy. The agents generate audits, mockups, landing pages, and recommendations. But AI output without human design judgment is just a draft. We need someone who can close the gap between what the agents produce and what ships to production. What you'll actually do: Take AI-generated design output (landing pages, experiment variations, audit visuals) and apply real design taste Work in Figma for traditional design deliverables when clients need them Contribute reusable design components and templates to our internal skills library - these feed back into the agent system and make future output better for every client Over time, help shape how our agents approach design decisions by improving the design layer of our tooling This role is for you if: You design in Figma but you're not afraid of a terminal You've committed front-end code to a real repo (HTML/CSS/JS minimum) You're curious about AI-assisted design workflows, not threatened by them You want your work to compound - not just ship a page and move on, but improve a system that gets smarter over time This role is NOT for you if: Your workflow ends at a Figma export You've never used git You need detailed specs to start working You want predictable, repeatable tasks - this role evolves fast How to apply: Don't send us a portfolio.
