Founding Product Designer (UX/UI)

About Ablely Ablely is building the future of specialist therapy discovery, care navigation, and family support. Our mission is simple: No family should have to navigate care alone. Families seeking support for autism, ADHD, developmental delays, disabilities, learning differences, and additional needs often face a fragmented and confusing system. Finding the right support shouldn't be this hard. We're building a modern marketplace and care navigation platform that helps families discover providers, understand their options, coordinate care, and move forward with confidence. Think BetterHelp meets Airbnb meets Zocdoc—built specifically for specialist therapy and disability support. The Opportunity We're looking for a Founding Product Designer to lead the design of our platform from the ground up. This is not a role where you'll be handed requirements and asked to create screens. You'll work directly with the founders to define the user experience, customer journey, information architecture, workflows, and product vision. You will have significant influence over how the product evolves and how families experience care through Ablely. What You'll Be Designing Family Experience: Onboarding journeys, search and discovery, therapist matching, provider comparison, booking experiences, messaging and communication, care plans, progress tracking, and mobile-first experiences. Provider Experience: Provider onboarding, profile creation, availability management, booking management, communication tools, and trust and verification workflows. Marketplace Infrastructure: Search experiences, marketplace navigation, review systems, trust mechanisms, user dashboards, and multi-sided marketplace experiences. Deliverables User research insights, user journey maps, information architecture, wireframes, interactive prototypes, design systems, UI designs, responsive experiences, and developer-ready specifications. Ideal Experience We're particularly interested in designers who have worked on healthcare products, marketplaces, SaaS platforms, consumer applications, booking platforms, mental health platforms, or care coordination tools. What We're Looking For Strong UX thinking, excellent visual design skills, experience designing end-to-end products, ability to simplify complex workflows, strong communication skills, startup mindset, and passion for solving meaningful problems. Bonus Points Experience with accessibility design, experience in healthcare, experience with multi-sided marketplaces, and experience designing products for parents and families.
