I've been doing this mostly alone for a while now. Some of that has been quiet and good. Some of it has been the kind of solo that feels heavier than it should. Either way, there's always more to do than there are hands to do it. So I'm hiring one person. Part-time, ten to fifteen hours a week. Hourly. Remote. Early June, if we click. A bit of background, because the role makes more sense with it. I run a small business under my own name — Nik Huno. The actual work Day to day, the things I might ask you to do: Cut a 40-minute YouTube recording into a 12-minute version. Light color grade in DaVinci. Pull a few Reels out of the same footage. Make two carousels for @wisdom.economy from this week's Substack essay. White serif, handwritten line, photo from the library. Design a new Instagram Story template for a launch. Make a new graphic for , or the Alchetype report cover, or the Substack header, or a hero image for an essay. Organise three months of camera-roll photos and video clips into a tagged folder structure. Pair the best ones with upcoming carousels. Clean up the content calendar in Notion. Set up a new database for tracking 3HGB launches or Alchetype customer notes. Write the X post version of this week's Substack essay. Schedule it. Reply to a few comments in my voice. Take a long YouTube video and turn it into a Substack post, three carousels, ten X posts, two Threads, a couple of Reels. Spread across the week. Help me improve the AI systems. Add a new Claude Code skill. Build a small automation when one would save us time. Some weeks lean visual. Some lean ops. Some lean writing. Bring what you've got. Ask when you don't know. We'll figure out the shape of the week together. What I'm looking for The non-negotiables: A real visual eye. You know good photography or good design when you see it. You think about composition, light, type, white space. The things you make don't look generic. Some hands-on experience in either video editing or graphic design. Doesn't have to be agency-level. Your own Instagram counts. Your own YouTube counts. Your own freelance work counts. Comfortable inside AI as a daily tool. You use Claude or ChatGPT regularly. You're not afraid of new tools. You can write a sentence that sounds like a person. Reliable. You don't ghost. You don't overpromise. You send the thing done. The bonuses, every one of which makes me more likely to hire you: You know DaVinci Resolve (free or Studio). Color grading instincts a plus. You know Canva well. Useful for fast templates and brand kits. You know Notion properly. Databases, relations, templates, the whole thing. You've opened Claude Code in a terminal. Or you're curious, and willing to learn this month. You live in Italy or somewhere nearby. So we can meet up to cowork now and then. Or you're already in Europe, CET-ish time zone. You've cut video before. Even one piece you're proud of. You've designed something. A carousel, a poster, a website, a zine. Anything where you held the visuals. You write your own stuff somewhere. A Substack, a blog, an Instagram with real captions. I don't care about size. I care about voice. Who I'm hoping you are You ship. You don't perform busyness. You send the thing done rather than the message about how hard it was. You don't need to have done this exact job before. If you've designed a few carousels for yourself, cut a few videos, run your own Instagram with care, and you can write a sentence that sounds like a person, that's enough. I hire on taste and curiosity. Not on CV bullets. What's in it for you, beyond the money A conscious business to work inside. No urgency theatre. No hustle posturing. We make things slowly and well, or we don't ship them. A close-up view of how a small, profitable solo business actually runs. The systems, the customer touches, the launch mechanics, the audience research, the AI rig. Most people guess at this from the outside. You'd see it from the inside. You get direct mentoring from me, which people usually pay thousands for. I help you grow as a creative, as an entrepreneur, artist and build whatever it is you want in your life. Real creative latitude. I'll give you a brief and trust you with it. If you make something better than what I asked for, that's what ships. Growing AI fluency on the job. If you're curious about Claude Code, prompt design, building skills and agents, this is one of the better learning environments I know. I'll pair with you when you want to learn something new. A flexible schedule that protects depth. I work afternoons and evenings, which leaves you most of the day to make things on your own rhythm. No standing meetings unless we both want one. A workplace that respects warmth. The audience I serve is conscious, post-awakening, allergic to bro-marketing. The way I write, treat customers, and run launches reflects that. You'd be inside a small ecosystem of real people doing real inner work, not a content-mill grind. A reference and a body of work. Whatever you make here, you keep in your portfolio. If you leave in a year, you leave with shipped work and a strong reference for whatever comes next. Logistics Ten to fifteen hours a week to start. Going up to twenty or twenty-five in busier launch seasons. Hourly. Remote. Can grow if it's a fit. Hourly rate is negotiable and depends on your background, our fit, where you are etc. You can indicate it in the form and we can talk about it. Indicative rate is $25/hour, but nothing is fixed and we can discuss this. A paid task before any longer commitment, so we both find out fast. No standups. No status meetings. Async-first. Telegram, Notion, email. That's mostly how we'll talk. Geography If you're in Europe or close to CET, even better. We can also make Asia or LATAM work if you're strong async. How to apply There's a form below. About twenty short questions, twenty minutes. Some of them are real little tests, because they show me how you think more than a CV line can. There's also an optional three-to-five minute phone video at the end. I'd love it if you sent one. No production. Walk and talk is fine. Not required. If this sounds like the right room to walk into, I'm glad you read this far. Write you again soon. Nik Huno (I will be reviewing the applications on May 20th so make sure to apply before for greatest chances, you can also apply later though as long as the role is not filled yet) Apply here:
