We have a compelling product, a credible founder, strong social proof, and a 7-day free trial with no friction to start — but something in the copy and positioning isn't landing. We need an expert to diagnose it and fix it. This isn't a "write some words for us" brief. We need someone who thinks strategically about who we're actually talking to, what they believe before they find us, and what it takes to get them to take action. The Brand Born to Sweat is an online fitness subscription platform built by Beverley Cheng — a former professional rugby athlete with 10+ years of coaching experience and 362K+ Instagram followers. The platform is live at , the app is live on iOS and Android, and we have a real, growing community of paying members. We're not a startup looking for brand therapy. We're a live, revenue-generating business that's ready to scale — and we need our messaging to do the heavy lifting. What You'll Work On — Conduct customer research and develop a clear ideal member profile (ICP) with specific pain points, language, and objections — Audit the current landing page and identify conversion gaps — Develop our core positioning statement and messaging hierarchy — Rewrite homepage copy, hero section, benefit statements, and CTAs — Write objection-handling copy (pricing page, FAQ section, testimonial framing) — Create a messaging framework we can use consistently across email, ads, and social — Potentially: write ad copy for Meta campaigns once positioning is locked Who We're Looking For — Proven experience with DTC subscription products — fitness, wellness, or consumer SaaS preferred — Strong background in conversion copywriting, not just content writing — You can show us landing pages you've worked on and results they drove — You know how to do customer research — you don't just guess at positioning — You understand the difference between features, benefits, and emotional outcomes — You write like a human.
