Content Editor for Interior Brand (Editorial Style, Remote)

I own Curated Home Decor, a small, owner-run home decor business with a local showroom and a growing online shop. The brand focuses on thoughtfully sourced pieces with a clean, elevated, editorial feel. I’m looking for a US-based content editor to help turn everyday iPhone photos and video clips into simple, beautiful, on-brand content. This is a light, ongoing hourly role focused on quality over volume. I’ll be capturing most of the content—you’ll help refine, edit, and organize it so it feels cohesive and elevated. What you’ll do: Edit short-form videos (Reels / TikTok style) Light photo editing for Instagram + Pinterest Help select the best content from raw footage Organize content into clean folders Occasionally suggest simple ideas for what to capture Additional support (light): Help track gifted items and content from existing partners Light engagement (likes, comments when appropriate) Organize content for reuse (social, website, etc.) What I’m looking for: US-based Strong visual eye (most important) Experience with CapCut, Canva, or similar Portfolio with lifestyle, interiors, or product content Organized, reliable, and easy to work with Style direction: Clean, elevated, natural. Interior-focused. Not overly trendy or influencer-heavy.
