AI-Native Product Engineer for Custom Merch Redemption Platform

We’re looking for a freelance developer to help us build the MVP for a custom merchandise redemption platform. The core idea is pretty simple: gated drops, smooth redemption flows, and a clean admin dashboard on the back end. We need someone who can move quickly and actually get the first version shipped in about 2 to 3 weeks. This is not a role for someone who wants to spend a long time planning and architecting before anything is live. We want to move fast, use AI-assisted development tools in a smart way, and compress the timeline without sacrificing the parts that matter. That means knowing where AI can speed things up, and also having the judgment to step in and refine the user-facing experience so it feels polished. What we need in the MVP: Drop pages with gated access, either through unique links or codes or points Product selection flows with size and variant handling Address collection and order capture Admin dashboard for orders, inventory, and redemption tracking Connection into our existing warehouse and fulfillment workflow There’s a bigger roadmap behind this, but right now the goal is to prove the concept and get the first version live. What we’re looking for: You already use AI-assisted dev tools as part of how you work day to day You have strong product and design instincts, not just engineering skills You can make something feel clean, premium, and intentional, not like a generic template You’re comfortable working in Google Cloud or Supabase, including auth, database structure, edge functions, and row-level security Experience with Gemini for app building You’ve built transactional product experiences before, whether that’s checkout flows, product selectors, order management, or similar systems You work fast, don’t need a lot of hand-holding, and can operate well with a small team and light specs To apply: Send over examples of something you built where you owned the frontend and made the design calls, especially if it’s something you shipped quickly.
