Episodes for reference can be found here: www.phantompublishing.com/plot-twist-radio Role Overview We are seeking a freelance Talent Booker / Guest Coordinator to support the next phase of growth for Plot Twist Radio. This role will focus on identifying, pitching, and securing compelling guests, particularly those with established platforms or public profiles. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the show’s visibility, reach, and overall guest caliber. Key Responsibilities Identify and secure high-quality guests, including authors, public figures, and entertainment professionals Conduct strategic outreach to publicists, agents, managers, and talent representatives Build and maintain relationships within media, publishing, and entertainment networks Manage and track outreach pipelines, follow-ups, and booking status Coordinate scheduling and communication with confirmed guests Collaborate on guest strategy and targeting to support show growth Ideal Candidate Proven experience booking guests for podcasts, media platforms, or live events Existing relationships with publicists, talent agents, or entertainment industry contacts (strongly preferred) Strong pitching, communication, and follow-up skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple outreach threads simultaneously Familiarity with the podcast, publishing, or entertainment landscape Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment Contract / freelance (remote) Flexible structure: monthly retainer, per-booking rate, or hybrid Compensation will align with experience and demonstrated result Please answer these questions: A brief introduction Can you share 2–3 examples of guests you’ve successfully booked? Please include how you secured them (publicist outreach, direct contact, existing relationship, etc.). Do you currently have relationships with publicists, talent agents, or managers? If so, please describe the types of clients or industries you’ve worked with. If you were tasked with booking a recognizable TV actor or musician, what would your outreach strategy look like? What is your typical booking success rate (or approximate conversion rate) when pitching guests? Why does Plot Twist Radio appeal to you, and what type of guest would you prioritize first for the show? Do you have any immediate connections or guest opportunities you could bring to the show within the first 30–60 days? What tools or systems do you use to track outreach, follow-ups, and bookings?
